On Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 8:00am in the Mini-Auditorium of the Far Eastern University with Prime Movers Events Class, the stability of the country’s national tourism and hospitality student organization will give another leap to its long standing thrust of “Instilling Leadership in Tourism and Hospitality Education.” Celebrating in advance the World Tourism Day, let’s join together as we unite and stand for our discipline and industry.
It’s our way of continually developing leaders not only for our skills but more on social consciousness, community service, and academic preparations. JTHMAP adheres in motivating and inspiring students of today to serve that tourism and hospitality students can be leaders of tomorrow. Allow us to be with you in this journey.
Join us as we clamor for this advocacy! Tomorrow, September 18, 2023 is our deadline for you to submit your endorsement letters. We need one (1) faculty from your school to join our Board of Advisers 2023-2025 and two (2) students (Tourism, Hospitality, Cruiseline, Aviation, Culinary, Transportation programs) to be elected as Board of Student Directors 2023-2024. For student candidates, we just need the endorsement of your dean or program head indicating that you have the leadership potential, good scholastic standing with no failing mark, and no detogatory record. Likewise, our faculty member should also be endorsed. You may have one endorsement letter for the faculty adviser and two student candidates.
Let’s learn from the experiences of our counterparts. We are very honored to have Ms. Leah Guba Ayeng, Philippine Marketing Association (PMA)’s Chair for Youth and Academe, who will talk about the “Role of Advisers in National Student Organization.” Joining her is the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) President, Ms. Arielle Alejandrino who will share her experiences on the “Opportunities and Challenges of Student Leaders in National Organization.”
JTHMAP members will only pay Php 500.00 inclusive of certificate of participation, AM and PM Snacks and Lunch. Non-members will pay Php 700.00 inclusive of lifetime membership, AM and PM snacks, lunch and certificate of participation. Faculty members will also pay Php 500.00 inclusive of certificate, AM and PM snacks, and lunch. You may bring your classmates, friends and supporters.
