This year’s J-List with the theme “EcoVolve: Turbocharging Sustainable Innovations in Tourism and Hospitality Education and Research” will be a training workshop that will allow for the next generation of tourism and hospitality professionals to embark on a hands-on exploration of how sustainable innovations are shaping the landscape of the industry today. Through interactive and inclusive sessions, activities, and simulations, the participants will acquire cutting-edge research skills while gaining insights into key sub sectors of the industry, inspiring them to think creatively and holistically to be able to contribute to the industry’s evolution. In culmination, this training workshop will recognize 30 outstanding participants (or J-Listers) who have exemplified the relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies of becoming active agents for the long-term development of the tourism and hospitality field.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1.₱1,500 Registration Fee. To cover the Day 1 & 2 PM snacks, Day 3 dinner, and stationery kit of the participant, as well as their contribution for hiring a DJ for the after-party. Payment will be through GCash (09065519099, Jojo M. Villamin) and the copy of the payment slip should be saved.
2. JTHMAP Membership Certificate. To serve as proof that the participant is an active member of JTHMAP.
3. Certificate of Year Level Standing. To confirm that the participant is indeed a current third-year college student.
4. Endorsement Letter from the College Dean or Program Chairperson. To ensure that the participant already possesses exemplary traits as a tourism and/or hospitality student and that they have great potential for further growth in the industry.
5. Certificate of Good Moral Character. To verify that the participant has no derogatory records.
6. True Copy of Grades. To guarantee that the participant has no failing grade and has a GWA (General Weighted Average) of at least 85%.
7. 1-Slide Student Campaign Profile. To showcase the past curricular and extracurricular performance of the participant. The slide should containing the following information: Picture, Full Name, Program, Year Level, Name of College/University, School Logo, and (if existing) School Motto Educational Background (from Secondary to Tertiary Level only) Academic Achievements (from Secondary to Tertiary Level only)Affiliations Research, Internship, or Any Fieldwork Experience Reason for joining J-List 2024
8. 2×2 Formal Photo. To officially acknowledge the participant in program presentations.
9. School Logo (in PNG Format). To officially acknowledge the participant’s school in program presentations.
Other Important Reminders: The participant should pay an amount of ₱300 for the membership fee via GCash (09065519099, Jojo M. Villamin) and send the payment slip through filling up the form https://forms.gle/oNYQbw5H1mneqAnZ7 to receive the JTHMAP Membership Certificate.
There will be an Registration where the participant will submit the above-mentioned requirements (items 1 to 9) for proper screening. The participant must be willing to travel to the said venue. The participant must secure their own accommodation and transportation for 3 days.
