JTHMAP Halalan is the annual event of JTHMAP to elect the National Officers who will become the backbone of the organization for the upcoming term. Higher education institutions from across the Philippines will send a minimum of 1 student and a maximum of 2 students – either a tourism, hospitality, culinary or alike programs to participate in Halalan 2024, with the goal of selecting the new set of National Student Executive Committee and National Board of Student Directors for the academic year 2024-2025.This election is committed to be open, transparent, and unbiased, ensuring that the process is fair and just for all participants. By fostering a democratic and inclusive environment, JTHMAP aims to choose leaders who will effectively guide the organization toward achieving its mission and goals in the coming year.
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- ₱1,000 Registration Fee. To cover the Halalan Kit and Snacks for the anniversary. Payment will be through GCash (09065519099, Jojo M. Villamin) and a copy of the payment slip should be saved.
- JTHMAP Membership Certificate. To serve as proof that the participant is an active member of JTHMAP.
- Certificate of Year Level Standing. To confirm that the participant is indeed a current third-year college student for academic year 2024-2025.
- Endorsement Letter from the College Dean or Program Chairperson. To ensure that the participant already possesses exemplary traits as a tourism and/or hospitality student and that they have great potential for further growth in the industry.
- Certificate of Good Moral Character. To verify that the participant has no derogatory records.
- Certified True Copy of Grades. To guarantee that the participant has no failing grade and has a GWA (General Weighted Average) of at least 85%.
- 1-Slide Student Campaign Profile. To showcase the past curricular and extracurricular performance of the participant. The slide can contain the following information, you can be creative for your campaign profile.Picture, Full Name, Program, Year Level, Name of College/University, School Logo, and (if existing) School Motto Objectives for joining JTHMAP HalalanEducational Background (Tertiary Level only) Academic Achievements Tertiary Level only)Affiliations
- 2×2 Formal Photo. To officially acknowledge the participant in program presentations.
- School Logo (in PNG Format). To officially acknowledge the participant’s school in program presentations.
Other Important Reminders:
- The participant should pay an amount of ₱300 for the membership fee if not yet a member of JTHMAP via GCash (09065519099, Jojo M. Villamin) and send the payment slip through filling up the form https://forms.gle/oNYQbw5H1mneqAnZ7 to receive the JTHMAP Membership Certificate.
- Higher education institutions from across the Philippines will send a minimum of 1 student and a maximum of 2 students – either a tourism, hospitality, culinary or alike programs to participate in Halalan 2024.
- There will be a Registration Form https://forms.gle/v1bGYMRcC4k8PAPfA where the participant will submit the above-mentioned requirements. The participant must be willing to travel to the said venue to present themselves.
- The participant must secure their own accommodation and transportation.
- Registration period will start on August 10, 2024, and ends on September 17, 2024.
- Must prepare a 1-minute presentation of themselves.
