Last February 16, 2026, key leaders and stakeholders gathered in Makati City for the official Launch of the Farm Tourism Strategic Action Plan (FTSAP) 2024โ2029 and the Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Agriculture (DA).
Anchored on the National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023โ2028, the FTSAP 2024โ2029 sets a clear and strategic roadmap to strengthen farm tourism as a catalyst for sustainable and inclusive growth. The MOA signing further solidified the partnership between DOT and DA in promoting farm and gastronomy tourism, empowering local farmers, and enhancing agri-tourism experiences across the country.
