Professional Code of Conduct

  • Effective Leadership.   Develop leadership through learning, student engagement, and shared interests in the areas of Tourism and Hospitality
  • Recognition. Acknowledge the student leaders of Tourism and Hospitality Management in their academic, leadership skills, industry competencies, and skills formation
  • Activity for Learning. Spearhead academic activities that enhance the learning and appreciation of the industry and its disciplines
  • Use of Profit. Any profit and funds received by the organization will be used for the operation and continuance of the organization.
  • Organization Forum. Meetings will be held for the purpose of progress checks, reports, and raising of concerns for the adequate flow of the organization in its activities, duties, and business.
  • Leadership Qualification. To be a leader, members must be active members with good records and credentials in their institution and must be in the field course of Tourism and Hospitality. They must possess the ability to lead and handle delegated works as their duties for the organization. Handling workloads, readiness to meet challenges, and exceeding expectations through their works are encouraged to better the operation of JTHMAP.
  • Duties and Responsibilities Accomplishment. Each member individual assigned to lead every function of JTHMAP must refer to the Constitution and By-Laws of the organization as a reference and information regarding their duties and responsibilities.
