On February 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos united along EDSA to end a dictatorship. In four days of courage and collective action, the people reclaimed democracy and proved the power of unity.
As we mark the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, we remember not only the victory, but also the human rights violations, the persecution of students, activists, Indigenous communities, and political prisoners that must never be forgotten.
Today, as attempts to distort history continue, we stand firm in defending truth and holding those in power accountable.
The struggle continues. The power remains with the people.
