Last March 16โ€“19, 2026, the Aspiring Restaurant Entrepreneurs Association (AREA) successfully held SALUSALO 2026: Where Flavor Meets the Feed at Ateneo de Manila University, gathering students, faculty, and industry leaders for a dynamic Food & Beverage Expo and Conference.

The event welcomed delegates, including students and faculty from the Junior Tourism and Hospitality Management Association of the Philippines, creating a vibrant space for learning, collaboration, and innovation in the F&B industry.

The Food Expo (March 16โ€“19) showcased a diverse range of student-led businesses, emerging concepts, and established brandsโ€”highlighting creativity, entrepreneurship, and the evolving landscape of food ventures.

Meanwhile, the Conference (March 19) featured insightful discussions from distinguished speakers at Leong Hall. Mr. David Sison (Co-Founder & CEO of Mama Louโ€™s and President of RestoPH), Mr. Vince Golangco (CEO of WhenInManila), and Mr. Nelson Jolivet and Mr. John Fisalbon of 2FrenchInManila shared valuable perspectives on social media marketingโ€”emphasizing authenticity, consistency, and the journey from humble beginnings to industry success.
