Last April 07, 2026, students, educators, and industry leaders gathered at PHINMA โ University of Iloilo for the FFM 2026 Gastronomy Symposium in celebration of Filipino Food Month. Organized by the NCCA, in collaboration with the City Government of Iloilo City and the Philippine Culinary Heritage Movement, the event highlighted the richness of Filipino cuisine and its connections across the ASEAN region.
The symposium featured inspiring discussions from distinguished speakers, including Prof. Jojo Villamin, Founder of JTHMAP, along with other industry experts who shared valuable insights on food sustainability, cultural preservation, and strengthening local food systems. The sessions encouraged participants to appreciate and support the future of our culinary heritage.
