Last July 1, 2026, a significant milestone was marked as the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), in partnership with ARISE Philippines and SM Supermalls, officially launched the 38th National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Under this yearโs theme, “NAGHAHANDA at KUMIKILOS tungo sa PANATAG na BAGONG PILIPINAS,” the kick-off ceremony emphasized the critical importance of proactive preparedness, collective community action, and multi-sectoral collaboration. The event brought together key stakeholders dedicated to building safer, more adaptive, and disaster-resilient communities across the nation.
