Last July 17, 2026, a significant milestone was marked as the Tourism Knowledge Center (TKC) by Rajah Travel Corporation, in partnership with Lyceum of the Philippines University โ Manila, officially launched its new publication, the TKC Chronicle, at LPU Manila.
Bridging the gap between academic research and industry practice, the launch highlighted the TKC Chronicleโs role as a dedicated platform for sharing industry insights, niche tourism circuits, and competency-based training. The inaugural issue featured recent simulation exercises and key research insights designed to empower and inspire the next generation of tourism professionals toward a more research-driven and sustainable landscape.
This event was attended by the following JTHMAP representatives alongside industry stakeholders, academic partners, and research advocates:
– Sir Jojo M. Villamin, Founder, Board of Trustees
– Prof. Carl Francis T. Castro, Treasurer, Board of Trustees
Through this engagement, JTHMAP continues to actively take part in national initiatives that champion research, stewardship, and knowledge-sharing within the industry. Our participation ensures that the future leaders of hospitality and tourism are well-equipped with data-driven perspectives and sustainable practices.
Building a stronger, more informed, and progressive future for tourism starts with bridging knowledge, fostering collaboration, and taking action today.
